If you already exercise keep training but take it easy. Some Cleansing Symptoms There are some normal symptoms that will occur during the diet. During the first couple of days, as stored toxins and wastes are released from the body, they will circulate through the bloodstream before being eliminated. This may cause some discomfort in the form of headaches, moments of dizziness, slight tiredness and weakness. Also, any chronic skin disorders may temporarily worsen in the early stages of the diet as toxins are released through the skin. The Tongue: A Cleansing Gauge One way the progress of the cleansing process can be gauged is by observing the color of the tongue. Initially the tongue will be pinkish. As the first few days of the diet progress, a coating will usually appear which is at first whitish then yellowish in color as toxins are released from the body. This may grow up to the third or fourth day, and it will then slowly disappear. You can remove this coating by brushing the tongue with a toothbrush or scraping it with a spoon.
